Passionate admirer of fine Pinot Noir and the Patriarch of Nepenthe, Dr Ed Tweddell, derived great pleasure from this Pinot. His untimely passing in 2005 cut short that enjoyment, but his legacy continues with an unswerving commitment to making fine Pinot Noir in his name.

"The heart of the Good Doctor is sourced from estate vineyards at Charleston and Lenswood with small amounts of fruit from a grower in the hills east of Woodside and one in Forreston. All Nepenthe Pinot is handpicked; the grapes are then rapidly transported to the winery where fermentation occurs in tank; time on skins 10 – 20 days."
